Is it possible for me to connect an internal IDE CD-RW burner to a Sonnet Tempo ATA 133 card? I recently installed the card along with an 80GB Seagate Barracuda IDE hard drive in my 8600/300 (I've heard a rumor that I'm getting a Sonnet G4/800 processor card for Father's Day!).

I have one empty drive bay in the 8600 and the IDE 2 bus on the Tempo is not being used. The low, low price of IDE burners makes it an interesting possibility.

BTW, I'd like to thank all the list members who convinced me to forego the SCSI hard drive route and who advised me on how to go IDE. The whole procedure was painless and the results have been outstanding.

John
