It's definitely doable. My wife's PCs and several of my Macs are online as
we speak via a Linksys router and dsl modem. The slowest of the PC's is
Plll-700 and it is running W/2000. The Macs are all over. I've gotten a 520c
P{owerbook running 7.6 online with no probs. I can't help you with the Pl/98
config though, but be assured it can be done. Also, there a Mac networking
group (I think it is a Lowend Mac group too).
