Having tried it, I belive Chris means trying to open a PDF in a browser
where the URL that opens the PDF is more than 255 characters. The
browser in my case was Internet Explorer and the OS was Windows 2000
Server SP4. I tried to print the PDF by pressing the print button
provided by acrobat. The test is simple.

1. Find a PDF you can open via Internet Explorer.
2. Add the QueryString ?huh=aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
3. Note that it prints if you press the button.
4. Change the querystring to
?huh=aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

5. Note that when you press the same button you get an error.

What browser? What version? On what OS platform?

        Have you tried others?

        Printing how? JavaScript? Where? Manual?
