I believe there's a new FDF tag, "Target", though I'm not up on the details. A little googling turned up (among other things): http://partners1.adobe.com/asn/developer/acrosdk/docs/fdftk/FDFtkRef.pdf Page 136 documents a function, "FDFSetTargetFrame". I didn't poke around that much, better info might be available in that google search ("target fdf"). --Mark Storer Software Engineer Cardiff Software #include <disclaimer> typdef std::disclaimer<Cardiff> Discard; > -----Original Message----- > From: Alu, Sam (ThomasTech) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2003 11:03 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [PDFdev] Controlling how PDF opens in Browser > > > > PDFdev is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com > _____________________________________________________________ > > I need to make sure that a PDF selected from a web browser > such as I.E. will > open in it's own separate Acrobat Reader window. > > I looked at the "app.openInPlace" JavaScript command, but that relates > strictly to a PDF opening another PDF. > > There is a configuration option in both Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader > called "Display PDF in Browser" under Edit>Preferences>Options. > > Is this what I'm looking for and how do I address it in a > Document-level > Java Script? > > SA > > > Samuel J.
