First the legal issues:
Are you located in the United States or elsewhere? If you are outside the US, have you verified that the LZW patent has expired in your area or have you acquired a license?
Now the technical:
Without knowing EXACTLY what these "3rd party libraries" are doing and what your code does, it is quite difficult/impossible to help. Make sure you are reading the correct info from teh PDF and placing it back as well - no headers, watch the space around stream/endstream, etc.
