Another in my series of Jersey diners.  Actually, it isn't really a
dine, but it is a genuine New Jersey institution.  Back in the 1950s.
my father would take the family for a drive "in the country."  Often,
the drive would feature a stop at Johnny's.  My father loved the draft
birch beer, served in frosted mugs.  My mother liked the fresh
buttermilk, and my sister liked the hot dogs.  I just loved the entire
experience.
