After a few dryish years, we are being inundated. Rain all night. The Dec. rainfall is now over 200mm - more than twice the average. With the ground so saturated, the run off is very high & the small town streams have become raging torrents. I took this shot early this morning. The stream feeds some disused ponds at the old sewage works, now inhabited by a large group of Hippos.
