The Turkish state continues to pound Kurdish population centres with tanks, artillery, and air power while its US and European allies in NATO look the other way. There has been little global outcry about the indiscriminate attacks against civilians though the parallels to the Israeli assault on Gaza in 2014 are quite stark.
