With the latest S26 proposal (and its new declarator blocks) in mind, I think that I would be happiest if embedded comments used the (#...) syntax. Reason: you still get the flexibility of choosing your own delimiters (unlike `#...#`), and you don't have to worry about where the = goes (unlike #`(...): is it #=`(...), #=(...), or #`(=...)?
