Hi all, I wish to contribute to the java packaging effort in Debian. I have helping with java packages in Ubuntu for some time and thought it will be good if some of the changes can directly be done in Debian to improve overall quality of packages. I have recently updated 'electric' package in Ubuntu which is now a Java application instead of a C/C++ application. I wish to help adopt this package in Debian as a start.
