Hi Lloyd, What OOo version are you using? I guess that version 2.0 at
least should generate 'less' conversion problems. And can you please
state clearly what effects and animations were actually not reflected in
the .ppt version? I'm asking just for everybody's info. Dong On 3/14/07,

Hi,
I used Oo 2.0.4 on a FC6, i even tried opening the presentation on WinXP
with Oo 2.1 there but still some problems...
sample problems:
* some text lines are trimmed (putol) into half horizontally
* i've tried some resizing but it didn't resize the font & some
resize it too small.
* the text are adjusting... or its seems like moving (bec i was
resizing the text)
yah one way to make present well is to install Oo & present the slide
shows using Oo but i think it's not that practical and workable in some
conditions.
i was hoping that there might be some properties that we could adjust so
that i might also work on Power point, although i read some forums that
says that the problem might be with the font also...
thanks guys sa inputs.. :) this isn't that much... im just testing the
waters on how would it feels like when i totally switch and work into
Linux and leave with windows even on my personal PC.
