Own a piece of PLUG history! I need to get rid of two 19" computer racks, one of which held the servers that hosted the PLUG lists and web site until the move a few months ago. Scrappers are offering to take them, but I would rather they go to someone who will reuse them as computer racks.
One is a 6' 4-post cabinet with a metal back door and a home-made dark plexiglass front door and one is a 4' 2-post rack (it's steel so it's heavy enough to be used w/o mounting to the floor). There are also some shelves and a rack-mountable fan unit. The catch is that whoever wants them will have to load and transport them themselves; I cannot do that. (I offered them to Free Geek with that condition but have not heard back; otherwise I would have just taken them to the donation drop-off.) Please contact me off-list if you are interested. I am in training today and tomorrow but will check my e-mail periodically. If they are not claimed by this weekend I will probably have to scrap them.
