Yes... especially on 4-post racks. All of our 4-post racks at work require
the cage nuts. I've never seen a 2-post rack that uses them, but I'm sure
they exist. I'm not very familiar with the round unthreaded holes that this
rack apparently has though.

Most have square holes (as earlier poster had asked about) that require
"cage nuts" (nuts housed in a frame that can be clipped into the square
holes... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cage_nut). "Normal" rack bolts then
screw into the cage nuts to secure everything in place. Cage nuts can be
purchased easily/affordably just about anywhere that sells corporate-class
computer equipment/furnishings (such as equipment/server racks).
