WRONG she sent a letter to the White House asking that Bush
authorize the transfer of NG from neighboring states to go
to LA BEFORE KATRINA landfall. This was a request to FEDERALIZE
the neighboring State NG to help in LA.

Bush had other more pressing things to do as well as the rest
of the staff, shoe shopping in NYC, fly fishing in Montana
and Birthday Parties in CA.

Three days after landfall Bush noticed some commotion in NOLA
then wanted to take control of everything, the Result was brain
numbing
incompetence and needless American deaths.
