I am using mpv-0.33.1 on OpenBSD 7.0 current 195, on an AMD64 machine The loop function in mpv stopped working in the last two weeks.
If it reaches the end of a file it stops playing. If I use the 'l' key to mark certain parts of a track, it stops playing at the second marker.
