uutils coreutils is a cross-platform reimplementation of the Unix core
utilities in Rust. It provides implementations of the traditional file,
shell and text manipulation tools with GNU-compatible command line
behavior.

This package installs the same files as sysutils/coreutils:
${PREFIX}/bin/gcat, ${PREFIX}/bin/gls, ${PREFIX}/bin/gstdbuf and so on
are symlinks to a multicall binary, and libstdbuf.so is installed as
${PREFIX}/libexec/coreutils/libstdbuf.so. It therefore conflicts with
sysutils/coreutils and declares sysutils/coreutils as a secondary
pkgpath, so the package tools accept it as a provider of that path.
The GNU package must not be installed at the same time.

Because the file names and locations are identical, ports that invoke
the GNU g*(1) commands need no source changes to use this package;
their build dependency on sysutils/coreutils only has to be pointed at
sysutils/uutils,-coreutils.

The multicall binary itself is installed as
${PREFIX}/libexec/uutils/coreutils. Utility names that GNU coreutils
does not install (arch, hostname, kill, more, uptime) are only available
through it, for example "coreutils arch".

uutils coreutils is not a drop-in replacement for the OpenBSD base
utilities: semantics follow GNU coreutils, and upstream shows an
"unsupported command on OpenBSD" diagnostic for who(1). It is intended
for users and ports that explicitly want the GNU- or uutils-flavored
behavior without depending on the GNU implementation.
