And all I got was this lousy T-shirt. Seriously, what a fantastic performance. Too bad the venue booked him with zydeco performer Terrance Simien so that they could make it a Mardi Gras thing. Dave was on, and had a number of converts. The crowd was wild, the band was tight, women went nuts over Chris G.'s vocal performance during the encore. The band got their baseball caps, Greg Boaz got his cigars, I got my T-shirt and a hernia, and it was the best night I've had in a long time. A reenactor friend of mine was estatic when I introduced him to DA (a fan for many years). A good P2 contingent was there as well. Time to go to bed. Thanks Dave.
