Hi Michael, I was there this summer visiting my sister. Our house is fine, but many have been burned down. My niece married a Muslim and her younger sister is dating one. They claim they *won't* behead us. The streets look like South Africa, where the land hasn't been cleared. Acres and acres of nothing and then an ancient Catholic Church. More acres and acres of nothing and then another ancient Catholic Church, and on and on. The surviving churches are all Catholic - Archdiocese keeps some of them in repair, others have been sold or torn down.
