I don't have a C compiler for Windoze, so I can't really compile
myself... I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to when the
Windows binaries might catch up to the current versions... The newer
versions have widget properties that I'd like to use. I have the same
question for GTK, though I guess I'll have to ask that elsewhere.

I will upload pycairo-1.2, pygobject-2.12 and pygtk-2.10 later today,
for both python 2.4 and 2.5, so stay tuned. But please note that
GTK+-2.10 is not widely available for win32 yet, at least not from the
major sites like gladewin32 or gimp for win32, so installation might
not be as straightforward as with pygtk-2.8.

http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/binaries/win32/gtk+/2.10/ ?

It seems that's the new location for win32 binaries of the GNOME stack.
