Is maintaining modules in svn a requirement for putting them under the python-modules-team umbrella?
Yes, that's the status quo.
If so, should we get rid of the git repositories on git.debian.org to avoid confusion?
I'm in favour of getting rid of them if they are confusing, but they do not bother me enough to act on this myself.
