Hi Lester,

Another approach would be to load your TTF font in fontforge and export the font to an SVG font. Then you can copy/paste the Path elements of the glyph with the text editor and further edit in Inkscape.

Hello,

I would like to convert a TTF font to SVG for use in QGIS but all converters I have tried online fail to generate a result that is usable in QGIS. I made sure to set the path to my SVG folder correctly.

No preview of the SVG is displayed when in the SVG marker option, so I am guessing that the converted file is not correct.

Any ideas how to add new SVG? I am trying to get the USGS geology markers converted from a TTF.

Cheers
Lester
