Hi - I'm relatively new to R, and would appreciate a bit of advice on how to get off the ground.
I'd like to install RCmdr to take advantage of the GUI. I've installed the package, and all the dependencies. I started X11. In my R-GUI window, I have checked the box next to RCmdr in the Package Manager. The scripts start executing in my R window, but the following happens: "Loading required package: tcltk Loading Tcl/Tk interface . . . > " . . . and the install hangs here. Am I missing some component to get the install to execute cleanly?
