I don't have a problem running Rbase from my CITRIX box. However, my
database is served from a Novell Server. The common, reoccurring theme
seems to be Rbase being served by a Win2k server. I would love to
replace my Novell server with a Win2k, but can't because of this very
problem. And whoever is talking about disabling drive caching, I think
that's nuts. I would be more inclined to look at the NETBIOS protocol,
or the DNS server on the Win2k server. There are anomalies with Win2k
and how it uses DNS to resolve network device addresses. I've read
brief information that if one has not implemented the DNS server for
their domain that without proper secondary configuration of host
resolution, the system will have significant lag. I wish I knew more or
had some sort of link to an article, but I'm just throwing ideas out
there in case someone else knows more.
