Herb, I'm not sure if I understand completely, but maybe this will help.
1) It sounds like your report should be driven by the tenants table... if so you don't need any variables, just place your "vacant" column on the report, and yes will show w/out any further effort. 2) If you only want vacant units to be included in the report, then at print time use a where clause ie: Print YourReportName whe Vacant = 'Yes' For interest calculations create a report variable similar to: vinterest = ((endDate - beginningDate)*(AnnualInterestRate/360)) or should there be 365 days in an interest year???
