We have been extensive users of Oterro for many users. We have
religiously upgraded over the years. We are only at 2.0 currently. I
reviewed the feature list of 2.5 on the Oterro site. We would certainly
wish to upgrade if we knew what the feature improvements in 2.5 and they
were worth the significant upgrade cost.

Mike,

You may want to look into Oterro 2000 (ver 2.5) for your front-end
applications. http://www.oterro.com

You may also want to ask Mike Byerley and Neil Smith, on this Official
R:BASE List Server, for their expert opinion. They both have done an
EXCELLENT job to help us bring out the BEST of Oterro 2000 (ver 2.5)
by using it as a front-end to their VB application.

And, if you are planning to attend R:BASE Developers' Conference
in April, you will have the pleasure to witness the KILLER applications,
and topics like COM Objects for Database access, and COM objects
used with both VB and ASP for common data retrieval by Neil Smith.

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
