Excellent program to put in the toolbox.

Thanks all for the info.

Char(160) does the trick. 254 & 256 did not. I wonder what the
difference is? I had actually moved the logic to the driving view a
few minutes after my post, but this is good to know.

Gunnar,

This is what I use as a quick reference to the ascii chart:

asc.cmd
-------------
cls
cle all v
set v vRow int = 1, +
      vCol int = 1, +
    vChar Text = (char(0)), +
  vCharInt int = 0, +
        ct int = 1

while ct < 300 Then

  Set v vCharCol = (.vCol + 4)
  Wri .vCharInt at .vRow .vcol
  Wri .vChar at .vRow .vCharCol

  If (mod(.ct,24))=0 and ct >= 24 Then
    set v vCol = (.vCol+6)
    Set v vRow = 1
  EndIf
  Set v vRow = (.vRow + 1)
  Set v ct = (.ct + 1)
  Set v vCharInt = (.vCharInt+1)
  Set v vChar = (char(.vCharInt))

EndWhile

return
