NAFI President, Mr Thorry Gunnersen, Re-elected

Mr Thorry Gunnersen was unanimously re-elected as the President of the National 
Association of Forest
Industries at the Annual General Meeting held in Canberra on 29 October 1996. Mr 
Gunnersen is Managing
Director of Gunnersen Companies Pty Ltd.

Mr Gunnersen's family has a long tradition in the forest industries and he has been a 
leading figure in
industry development and
association activities for many years. The Gunnersen companies are involved in many 
aspects of the industry,
including sawmilling, panels production, importing, exporting, wholesaling and 
retailing.

Other office bearers elected at the meeting were as follows:
 Mr Keith Sullivan   Vice President   (General Manager, Boral Timber Division)
 Mr Shaun O'Sullivan   Treasurer   (Chief Executive, North Forest Products)
 Mr Ron Adams   Vice President   (Managing Director, Bunnings Forest Products)
