Not that I can find any, but maybe this will help.. Been occuring since the
host.allow change

can't verify hostname: gethostbyname(localhost.localdomain) failed
Feb 17 18:12:22 localhost xinetd[23255]: execv( /usr/sbin/ipop3d ) failed:
Bad address (errno = 14)

Feb 17 18:13:17 localhost xinetd[23260]: warning: /etc/hosts.allow, line 6:
can't verify hostname: gethostbyname(localhost.localdomain) failed
Feb 17 18:13:17 localhost xinetd[23260]: execv( /usr/sbin/in.telnetd )
failed: Bad address (errno = 14)


[root@soros sysconfig]# cat /etc/hosts
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1       localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.1.3     noise
192.168.1.1     bach
