Hi folks, Bryan here. I usually hang out at the antiqueradios forum, and a fellow there suggested that I seek info here regarding this rare FM signal generator, after posting for info there with zero results.
I have no idea of the manufacture date, or whether it was a piece of in-house gear or mass marketed. I believe it was in-house, because nobody I've spoken with had any idea that Plectron ever made any test gear at all. It's the size of most tube type signal gens, (half a shoe box) and it is your typical hammered blue grey paint color with a small chrome carry handle. It has four tubes, and is heavy as lead. It seems to be really well made, and is in very good condition. I restore tube radios and related test gear, so this thing would really come in handy, "if" I can get some info on how the use it! ;) Any info or leads would be much appreciated. P.S. The fellow who directed me here said that you folks can turn up info on anything to do with radios or test gear. ;)
