Support for RTSP in GStreamer is coming along. Once the GStreamer plugins work perfectly, it should also Just Work in Rhythmbox. Certainly you can already add an RTSP stream as an internet radio and try it out to see how well it works for you. You'll need current releases of GStreamer Base Plugins, GStreamer Good Plugins, GStreamer FFmpeg plugins and GStreamer Ugly Plugins to have any hope of it working at all.
