Screw the BCS, the bowls and all the playoff systems. We're once again doing our Ultimate National Title taking every Division-I college football team and giving them a shot at the crown. This is a war of endurance as much as talent.
With 117 teams, there has to be three of 29 teams and one of 30. The "weakest" of the No. 3 seeds, in this case, Ole Miss, has to play an extra game. All of the other top three seeds get a first round bye. The higher seed gets the home game up until the semifinals. The seedings are based on our rankings before all the bowl games. In the interest of trying to avoid games that are repeats of regular season matchups trying to put as many different teams from different conferences in the brackets and yes, the geographical directions are names only.
