What's the timescale for these releases?
I'm not sure when linbox will get uploaded into Debian (at the moment,
my package violates Debian library policy by compiling a static
library with -fPIC; Debian policy wants you to include a shared
library with -fPIC and a static library without -fPIC), but ideally
it'd be a version which has the linbox wrapper included, so that it'd
be totally ready to use for the Debian SAGE package.
