Wow, that sounds like a pretty nasty brand new bug.  It definitely wasn't
in sage-3.0.6, since I had a class of students constantly using "edit a copy".
Why is the notebook suddenly getting a bunch of bugs it didn't have before?
(rhetorical question -- I'm sure I'm to blame, either by not watching
the refereeing
process closely enough or something else).   This is really ridiculous.
