This is the amazing thing about Sage and an attribute of good
software: you don't need to understand every detail in order to use it
productively. And it motivates you to learn more and explore unknown
fields such as mathematics. :)

I just spoke to a Geography professor who said that it would be great
to have one software that everyone at the department could use for
teaching, rather than confusing students with totally different
syntaxes such as those in Matlab, R, MMA, etc.
I would add that it would be great if such a program was free so that
students could actually apply what they learned after leaving
university, without having to buy 10 different software licenses.
Why not keep working on such a software?
