That looks like the problem since GNU TLS is up to version 2.x but
there are much older versions installed:

snehurka> dpkg -l|grep -i tls
ii  libgnutls10                    1.0.4-8                  GNU TLS
library - runtime library
ii  libgnutls11                    1.0.16-14                GNU TLS
library - runtime library
ii  libgnutls12                    1.2.8-1                  the GNU
TLS library - runtime library
ii  libgnutls13                    1.4.4-2                  the GNU
TLS library - runtime library

I'll try to get this updated next week. Thanks for the pointers.
