For the record: there is a unit library in MuPAD; here is its documentation: http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/mupad/stdlib/unit.html I don't have any specific opinion on it except that it did the job in a natural way in the few occasions I ended up using it for basic stuff.
