Is there anyway of finding out a computer accessing a particular file? There is an exe file shared on the network, that keeps getting infected
I know if someone opens it, the lock will appear in smbstatus - but that's only if the user is still accessing it, which invariably means by the time the virus scanner picks it up, the user is long gone Is there a way to monitor and log each access to this exe via samba?
