Problem is that 'TAX_CLASS' variable is not available in this module, so it does not show up in /settings/ It is not in config.py of percent tax module.
Although when I also enable 'area tax' as custom tax module in settings.py, this option becomes available in /settings/ even when 'area tax' is not selected as tax module. and then it seems to work.
