Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the Tom baker Era, he had the legendary E-Space Trilogy, when the TADRIS went through a Charged Vacuum Emboitment into E-Space, where the TIme Lords had stuffed the vampires after defeating them in a war. As the TARDIS flew through it, if I remember properly, it was struck by lightning.
