[sc-issues] [Issue 115331] Text import (csv) needs a n option to specify locale

One can use the "column type" field to correct the format/types of these columns, but this is a bit tedious for a large file. Allowing the user to specify the locale of the entire imported CSV file on the text-import window would allow all the CSV text to be interpreted correctly in most cases, with field-specific settings being the exception. (The only other approach I know of is to change global options in the OO settings, which is really impractical and somewhat confusing.) So this may impact a larger proportion of users than would first appear. A suggestion for the styles themselves would be that they should ideally replace all of the Format menu functions. Since a given formula has different formatting (eg the for the existing items in the Format->Fonts dialog: variables, functions, etc.) the simplest thing might be to create a new "formula style" section in the Styles and Formatting window. This would seem preferable to some system where four different character styles applied to each formula. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. If you undo in the document it will ignore changes made in the formula but instead undo whatever the last word processor operation was. However if you double click into the formula it will then undo the last formula action - even if other word processor actions have superceded it. My own preference would be: - In the word processor, undo should revert the formula - In the formula editor undo should NOT revert the document since this might not be very obvious to the user. FYI I think a similar problem exists with charting in Calc. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. This affects drawings made in OO Draw which use "smart" arrows (where the lines automatically connect to the objects). It seems like it only happens when the lines end up with > 1 bend in them but I am not sure that is a necessary condition. When I paste a drawing to Writer where the line which is connecting the object will be positioned incorrectly in the Writer document. In the case I saw, just one segment was affected. It seemed like randomly moving the line in the original drawing and then pasting again (even if it was moved back to the same place) would fix this problem. It did not matter what paste format was used - draw, GDI, bitmap, etc. all had the same issue. Although there is a workaround this could cause serious apparent quality problems in people's work since it is pretty easy to miss in a complex diagram. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
