diinstall malah kebanyakan program2 adware bawaannya itu program, ampun dah

Itu namaya HPNA (Home Personal Network Access).
Saat ini sudah sampai HPNA v3 yang bandwidth-nya bisa sampai teoritical
10Mbps via cable
telp biasa.
Cocok digunakan pada Hotel, Apartemen, dan sejenis yang hanya memiliki
sambungan kabel
telp pada masing-masing kamar tetapi tidak memiliki kabel data (UTP)
dimasing2 kamar tsb.
Keuntungan alat ini adalah dapat menghubungkan jaringan transmisi Ethernet
sampai 10Mbps
(HPNAv3). Saya pernah lihat demonya di Taiwan waktu event Computex Taipei
2004. Kelebihan
lainnya adalah jarak. Dengan kabel UTP maks kabel adalah 100m. Dengan kabel
telp dan HPNA
ini dapat lebih dari 100m but detailnya lupa. Alatnya memang berupa switch
pada sisi
main-room dan modem multiplex pada sisi user yang akan bercabang 1 cabang ke
telp dan
cabang lainnya ke UTP. Untuk detail bisa browse di google, Keyword: HPNA
version 3 White
Paper
Untuk membeli alat ini juga sptnya sudah tidak terlalu sulit. Coba saja cari
dengan
keyword HPNA tsb.

O ya, ada 1 teknologi lagi yang sudah cukup lama digunakan untuk
menghubungkan antar 2
site dengan bandwidth sekitar 2 MB point-to-point. Nama alatnya adalah VDSL
Modem. Just

kembali dr kabel

waktu install linux monitor sudah bisa menampilkan gambar graphic yang halus

diakhir langkah instalasi gagal mengaktifkan  x server

Saya pernah mangalaminya...pas saya coba ganti Power Supply komp. yang lain
langsung normal.Dan belum tentu juga Power Supply yang sekarang
digunakan itu rusak..Kadang2 memang suka aneh tuh.

Coba aja deh ganti satu2 untuk di test agar mengetahui masalahnya itu ada ad
dimana.!

kalo remote brarti harus ada interaksi client server dong..
apalagi kalo pake software..ada sih yang lebih mudah pake remote anywhere
tp..tetap harus nginstall slave.exe di client/komputer yang mau diremote.

Saya mempunyai persoalan sebagai berikut :
Sekolah kami memasang system LAN yang di kerjakan oleh sebuah
kontraktor,
Tapi alamat hosting kami www.yps-srk.sch.id kami tidak tahu alamatnya,
kami telah bertanya ke kontaktor tersebut tetapi mereka tidak memberikan
respon terhadap pertanyaan kami. Padahal kami ongin memasang web kami di

iya neh...kepada yang tau cara ngatasinya tolong kasi tau.
tulungin dong,kasusnya sama persis seperti saya,...kayak gitu juga
FYI, saya sudah coba pake "spy boot search&destroy" + scan virus & trojan,
"sysclean" dari trend micro ( malah gak ke detek ada virus/trojan sama
sekali )
tetep juga tuh mohon pencerahannya.

Di WinXP SP2 software remot ga bisa jalan kemungkinan secara default Sp2

Guys,

Disini banyak yang menyarankan s/w remote, btw
Gimana sih jalanin di win XP sp2, soalnya defaultnya s/w remote tersebut di
protek alias enggak bisa kerja.
Kalau bisa s/w yang enggak perlu diinstal di client, soalnya rada bt juga
kalau nyuruh clientnya (suruh accept) bila kita mau masuk.

Itu namaya HPNA (Home Personal Network Access).
Saat ini sudah sampai HPNA v3 yang bandwidth-nya bisa sampai teoritical 10Mbps 
via cable
telp biasa.
Cocok digunakan pada Hotel, Apartemen, dan sejenis yang hanya memiliki 
sambungan kabel
telp pada masing-masing kamar tetapi tidak memiliki kabel data (UTP) dimasing2 
kamar tsb.
Keuntungan alat ini adalah dapat menghubungkan jaringan transmisi Ethernet 
sampai 10Mbps
(HPNAv3). Saya pernah lihat demonya di Taiwan waktu event Computex Taipei 2004. 
Kelebihan
lainnya adalah jarak. Dengan kabel UTP maks kabel adalah 100m. Dengan kabel 
telp dan HPNA
ini dapat lebih dari 100m but detailnya lupa. Alatnya memang berupa switch pada 
sisi
main-room dan modem multiplex pada sisi user yang akan bercabang 1 cabang ke 
telp dan

Untuk membeli alat ini juga sptnya sudah tidak terlalu sulit. Coba saja cari

Dari sisi client, tidak perlu install client software. Cukup dengan IE atau 
Opera yang
support JAVA
Di sisi client ini dapat diakses dengan cara screen-shoot maupun Interactive 
(dengan Java

Dear KiQ,
Coba cek server aplikasi web-based, apakah kabelnya ter-"colok" ke Switch/Hub.
Juga cek apakah IP address server sudah satu network dengan client2-nya. 
Caranya login ke
Server, lalu ketik perintah sbb: 

1. Start -> Run -> CMD (enter)
2. Ketik: IPCONFIG /ALL  (enter)

Lihat apakah IP address server sejenis dengan clientnya. Sbg contoh: Kalau IP 
address pada
client adalah berturut2 sbb: 192.168.1.10, 192.168.1.11, dst.. Maka IP server 
sebaiknya:
192.168.1.2 atau 1.3 dan set subnet mask di 255.255.255.0
O ya, kalau setelah isi IP address tersebut muncul warning dalam bahasa inggris 
yang kira2
isinya sbb:
"Duplicate IP address detected", maka ubah IP server kamu pada digit terakhir 
dengan angka
lain sampai tidak muncul lagi peringatan sejenis. Kalau masih gagal, apa boleh 
buat, just
call your PIC-man or posting lagi masalah kamu setelah cara ini dicoba :-)

Untuk pertanyaan no 2, kamu cukup telp dan complain masalah kamu kepada 
KabelVision, Minta
mereka datang dan lakukan test terhadap kualitas signal. Kalau mereka 
mengatakan signal
OK, silahkan kamu "confront" berdua antara CBN dan KV :-p

Good luck ya.. And cerita2 gimana hasilnya nanti :-))

PS: Kabel memang kadang bisa masalah (noise, too many collision, etc) apabila 
pada segment
tsb banyak pengguna CableNet untuk akses internet. Apalagi kalau dapat yang 
travo-nya
jelek. ^duh :-( 
Dulu saya pada saat pertama subscribe ke KV sudah wanti2 dari awal oleh CS-nya 
agar minta
jalur yang bagus dan travo yang bagus karena kabel tersebut nantinya secara 
primary akan
diperuntukkan untuk akses internet dan bukan untuk nonton TV. Semoga CS disana 
bisa
membantu kamu mendapatkan solusi yang baik. Kalau masih blom solve juga, 
terpaksa pindah
services.

saya mau tanya ttg cable connection (kabelvision): 

1.apakah memang bisa menggunakan penguat signal TV utk memperkuat signal 
internetnya ?

2. dirumah saya, sering kali terganggu cable connectionnya, kalau saya tanya ke 
support
CBN, mereka sering mengungkapkan 2 alasan :

a. ada "noise"
b. cable modem saya kurang toleran dgn "noise" tersebut

apa benar begitu ataukah mereka kasih alasan asal2an seolah2 masalahnya 
tersebut dari
kabelvison. masalah tersebut kadang2 terjadi 1 minggu sehingga saya tdk bisa 
akses ke
internet

Program tsb berupa image yang akan membuat disket boot-able dan kemudian harus 
boot dari
disket ke OS Linux
Kemudian secara otomatis akan menjalankan program untuk over-ride password

Saya pemakai Laptop IBM 600E...PII 366 MHz..
Ketika sistem sedang berjalan pada XP,
saya mencoba restartternyata keluar kesalahan
error code 8611...setelah saya baca, ternyata itu 
error pada Mouse nya../Trackpoint.

Kata para bengkel laptop harus di ganti Kboardnya.

Emang sih ada solusi lain, yaitu men-disable kan Trackpoint
via CMOS. Tp apakah ada cara lain ...??
Saya kurang berani via CMOS / BIOS

Mohon saran dan petunjuknya..

Mungkin memang ada hardware yang Plug and Play terus coloknya kurang bener 
or connectornya kendor or rusak or kotor jadi dia nyambunk ngga nyambunk 
ngga Coba di cek setiap connector nempelnya bener ngga... mungkin bisa 
dicoba dengan cara digoyang2 setiap connector hardware yang plug and play 
buat tau bener ada hubungan hardware yang kontaknya kurang bener apa 
ngga.

teman-teman millister..
kenapa yah di komputer saya akhir2 ini pas lagi
digunain suka berhenti sesaat..trus dari soundcard
muncul bunyi 'ting dung' peringatan windows seperti
cpu ditancapkan hardware baru,berikutnya muncul suara
hardware dicabut juga 'dung ting' ..padahal semua
removable disk saya detach.dan cpu juga tdk saya utak
utik..

ngga ada efek sih..cuma bt aja..makin lama makin
sering:)

rekan2 IT,

saya mau tanya ttg cable connection (kabelvision): 

1.apakah memang bisa menggunakan penguat signal TV utk memperkuat signal 
internetnya ?

2. dirumah saya, sering kali terganggu cable connectionnya, kalau saya tanya ke 
support CBN, mereka sering mengungkapkan 2 alasan :

a. ada "noise"
b. cable modem saya kurang toleran dgn "noise" tersebut

apa benar begitu ataukah mereka kasih alasan asal2an seolah2 masalahnya 
tersebut dari kabelvison. masalah tersebut kadang2 terjadi 1 minggu sehingga 
saya tdk bisa akses ke internet

tolong infonya, TIA !

iya neh...kepada yang tau cara ngatasinya tolong kasi tau.
tulungin dong,kasusnya sama persis seperti saya,...kayak gitu juga 
FYI, saya sudah coba pake "spy boot search&destroy" + scan virus & trojan, 
"sysclean" dari trend micro ( malah gak ke detek ada virus/trojan sama 
sekali )
tetep juga tuh mohon pencerahannya.

guys..
ada yg tau ga istilah sebutan utk hub yg dpt meng-convert dari kabel 
network biasa menjadi ke kabel telpon, alat ini difungsikan untuk dpt 
menggunakan jaringan kabel telpon sebagai kabel penghubung masing2 
station ke server
sebenarnya saya punya alat ini di kantor, mereknya Giga T-Lan buatan 
Korea, terdiri dari satu buah hub 12 port dan unit satuannya yg kecil 
seperti modem yg digunakan pada masing2 station utk mengconvert 
kembali dr kabel telpon menjadi kabel network biasa
sekalian jg kalo ada yg tau dimana bisa membelinya dan berapa harganya

Coba Anda download Disk Partition sesuai merk Harddisk
Anda, misalnya Maxtor, Anda cari Maxblast 3.
Dari situ, Anda pilih setup Harddisk, lalu erase semua
partisi yang ada, lalu coba Anda create partisi lewat
utiliti yang tersedia, pilih Advance dan kalo mau
mempartisi 3 buah, tinggal Anda tentukan ukuran tiap
partisi. Baru Anda install ulang win 98 dll. Bila
sudah selesai, saya sarankan anda buat image Ghost,
supaya bila sewaktu2x ada masalah Anda bisa tinggal
timpa dengan file ghost itu. 
Tapi bila hal ini tidak membantu, maka mungkin benmar
rekan yang sebelumnya, harddisk Anda rusak, atau
minimal ada bad sectornya.

coba ulangi kali ini restart dulu kompinya bersihkan
cache, history, biar bener-bener clear. trus buka
gmailnya, terserah pake IE, Firefoz or netscape. 
biasanya ini gara2 koneksi situ dech, kalo buka gmail
jgn buka dolo web yang lain tunggu kalo udah kebuka
gmailnya (masuk ke inboxnya).

Lah kalo di ping aja udah request timeout itu artinya ga connect mas!
Coba cek IP nya udah 1 NET ID belom ato switch nya mati/kablenya putus.
Kalo di LAN card anda tidak menyala lampunya berarti tidak connect.

petunjuknya

ke jaringan tersebut

nanti akan di tampilkan. trus kita pilih, jika network tersebut di 
encripsi, dia nanya key nya,
jika dia harus menggunakan ip fix, dia nanya ipnya berapa ...

bisa di download di www.dameware.com ada trialnya juga.
Untuk Install di client tidak perlu user melakukan install tapi 
tinggal tau ip computer yang mau di remote trus klik install services 
dari servernya .Otomatis service dameware akan terinstall tanpa butuh 
campur tangan user.

[ITCENTER] desperately - need work

Rekan-rekan Milis,

Sulitnya mendapatkan pekerjaan yang tetap tentu sudah menjadi kendala bagi 
masyarakat umum. Sama halnya dengan saya.
Padahal saya ingin sekali mendapatkan pekerjaan tetap yang memadai, 
walaupun awalnya sebagai pegawai kontrak, namun saya berjanji

dear temen2 mo nanya nih ad kasus

client mo akses aplikasi (web based) tapi ga bisa konek ke servernya.
udah dicoba dari beberapa client (komputer yg berbeda) msh ga bisa 
konek juga.
udah di ping ke server msh ga bisa, request time out terus... 


minta advise dunk what should i do ??..soalnye pic yg bersangkutan lg 
tugas keluar kota... 
aku awam banget neh soal ini...

ps:. koneksi pc client ga ad masalah di network, status semua client 
okay semua...

- tidak di enkripsi
- tidak di filter mac addressnya
- DHCP di aktifkan

Saya rasa harddisknya rusak, udah coba ganti pake harddisk lain untuk
install dengan cara dibawah untuk mastikan bahwa benar harddisknya yang
trobel/rusak.

sebelumnya saya usapakan salam kenal buat semua pengelola
site ini.saya adalah pemula dalam dunia komputer dan juga
anggota baru dalam millist ini.
  saya mau bertanya tentang instalasi windows di komputer
saya yang bermasalah.
komputer saya intel P III, dan kemaren memakai sistem dual
booting windows 98 dan XP.tiba2 suatu saat windows 98
tidak bisa digunakan sehingga saya setelah itu selalu
menggunakan yang XP. beberapa hari yang lalu tiba-tiba
komputer saya tidak mau booting dan tertulis pesan...emm
saya lupa yang jelas ada kata corupted gt.nah karena tidak
bisa booting itu lalu saya coba untuk menginstall
windowsnya lagi.tapi ternyata setelah beberapa kali saya
format drive C isinya masih tetep utuh padahal proses
format berjalan lancar sampe selesai bahkan beberapa
kali.(hardisk 20 Gb saya partisi tiga).drive D nya juga
terdetek tetapi tidak bisa dilihat isinya.sedang drive yg
lain bisa.
akhirnya saya nekat langsung saya install win 98 lewat cd
room karena isi cd ternyata jg gak bs saya copy ke
hardisk.bahkan ketika saya ganti master cd nya hal itu
tetep terjadi.dalam prose install itu hanya sampe pada
proses scan selesai.sesduah scan selesai muncul kalimat
"copying files neded for windows setup"


saya ulang2 tetap saja begitu.
  saya mau tanya kira kira apa yang terjadi dalam komputer
saya itu dan mohon alternatif pemecahan masalahnya atau
solusi yang mungkin bisa saya lakukan.
