sori semua, mohon beribu maap...
rencananya skali baca langsung bales.
tetapi kemaren ngepasin ada ujian and banyak tugas numpuk..
jadi kgak sempet ngenet...

jadi gini,
1. kita masuk dulu ke safe mode windows kita,
caranya pencet F8 saat pilihan boot masuk ke windows,
2.buat matikin servis yang ga kita perlu
ketik msconfig di start menu|run, terus kta cari servis yang namanya
system.exe, dan servis
yang agak nyleneh yang kita tahu kalo itu pasti kerjaan virus ini, 'kena
virus ya, rasain tuh', trus
kita uncheck di cek bok nya.
3. masuk ke regedit, caranya sama start menu|run, ketik regedit. kita cari
string yang bunyinya
terus kita juga cari system.exe (lokasinya di
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS/CURRENTVERSION/RUN)
hapus key tsb.
kalo ga yakin bisa backup dulu registri anda.
4. hapus file sumber/hasil kerjaan virus dari semua harddrive anda.

semoga berhasil..
skali lagi maap. nyari koneksi dan waktu sangat susah akhir2 ini.

AS/400 library juga bisa. Cuma harus berhati-hati dengan code pagenya, 
terutama untuk 2 mesin AS/400 yang beda code page, jangan sekali-kali 
mengcopy file dengan Windows dengan melakukan map di 1 PC ke 2 mesin AS/400. 
Code page untuk hasil file nya bisa berantakan. Sebaiknya dioperasikan di 
AS/400. Tapi kalau dari PC ke AS/400, jangan kuatir. Tidak ada masalah.

AS/400 bisa menjalankan perintah AIX, ini mungkin yang dimaksud agak-agak 
UNIX. Bahkan kernel SAP yang baru mulai WebAS 6.40 yang berjalan di iSeries 
(AS/400) menggunakan AIX.

Saya juga setuju sekali untuk tidak menggunakan AS/400 sebagai file server, 
kecuali file-file itu akan di proses oleh aplikasi AS/400. Sayang kalau 
spacenya habis hanya untuk menyimpan file.

[ITCENTER] Tanya MS Exchange dengan MS Outlook MAPI

[Dedy]

Temans, saya lagi butuh bantuan nih. Saya create user di Active
Directory Windows Server 2003, terus create email sekalian untuk user
tsb. Mail Server pakai MS Exchange 2003. Permasalahannya adalah: User
tersebut bisa mengakses email lewat Outlook Web Access tapi tidak bisa
mengakses email lewat MS Outlook dengan protokol MAPI (Mail
Application Programming Interface).
Nah temans, bagaimana caranya supaya user tsb bisa mengakses emailnya
lewat MS Outlook protokol MAPI?

NB: Server saya adalah upgrade-an dari Windows 2000 Server + Exchange
2000 -> Windows Server 2003 + Exchange 2003.

Cara yang paling bagus adalah kalau iSeries Navigator (dulu AS/400 
navigator) terinstall di PC. Bisa juga dengan di map drive 
'\\\root', kemudian dioperasikan dengan Windows Explorer, 
tetapi syaratnya NetServer service harus jalan.

Bisa juga dengan ftp, tapi untuk tipe file '*.txt' dan '*.xls' Anda harus 
mengubah ftp attribute di AS/400. Caranya di command line, lakukan:
CHGFTPA NAMEFMT(*PATH) CURDIR(*HOMEDIR)

Lakukan pengecekan sebelumnya dengan CHGFTPA, kemudian tekan F4. Lihat 
setting di area dibawah ini:

Initial name format  . . . . . .   *PATH *SAME, *LIB, *PATH
Initial directory  . . . . . . .   *HOMEDIR  *SAME, *CURLIB, *HOMEDIR

atau

Initial name format  . . . . . .   *LIB *SAME, *LIB, *PATH
Initial directory  . . . . . . .   *CURLIB  *SAME, *CURLIB, *HOMEDIR

Jadi tidak pusing kalau mengembalikan ke posisi semula.

Kalau Initial name format nya adalah *PATH, tidak perlu lakukan CHGFTPA 
NAMEFMT(*PATH) CURDIR(*HOMEDIR). AS/400 bisa langsung di ftp. Tetapi kalau 
Initial name format nya adalah *LIB, maka kembalikan ke posisi semula 
setelah transfer ftp selesai dengan command CHGFTPA NAMEFMT(*LIB) 
CURDIR(*CURLIB).

Kalau boleh tahu, OS/400 nya versi berapa?

kalo AS/400 yang tipe dulu sich belum support TCP/IP - jadi memang harus via
Client Access.. baru dech ter-download TXT nya.

Kalo yang sekarang ini sich sudah bisa FTP langsung, cuma memang tetap dari
Physical File di dalamnya perlu di rubah dari TXT.

coba install dan update antivirus norman terbaru..
scan pada safe mode..ada virus terdetect dengan nama
rontokbro/w32..sakti banget.karena berhasil
memusingkan!!clean!
lalu install prog hijakthis
hapus registri disableregistrywindows..

Try use Windows 98 Bootable CD, go to FDISK and delete
any partition appears there (WinXP will be shown as
Non-FAT Partition or even Unknown Partition), then
from there Re-Boot ur Compie, go back to that FDISK,
create a New Primary Partition by using FAT32, Re-Boot
it again.

ThusFirst Thing FirstInstall Windows 98 to a
Newly Created PartitionJust Click
NextNext...da..da...da.da...till you got all
Things Installed Properly.

Afterwards, you guys can simply Install Windows 2000
Pro where you will be given an Option to Choose
between Converting into an NTFS or stick with
FAT32...Choose NTFS insteadclick
Next...Next...fill up every Pop Up Windows as
necessary

When its finished...there you go...Cool Banana

NOTE: It Works for Me, But It Doesn't Mean That It
Will Work for Both of You As Well.

VB/VC/Delphi freelancer aja, jadi kerjanya bisa bebas & santai :)

tidak menutup kemungkinan bagi yang membuat software dengan bahasa

ehm, jarang ada pertanyaan sekitar mesin mahal di milis ini ;)
AS/400 gak bisa buka 'shared folder' a'la Windoez ya ? hehe

sekedar pendapat ngawur, belum pernah ngoperasiin AS/400. klo gak
salah, AS/400 itu os nya kan agak agak 'unix' gak sih (bukan totally
unix sih), pertanyaan pertama, apakah AS/400 support NFS ?  NFS kan
protocol 'tua', udah mateng, *mungkin* AS/400 support)

masalahnya, buka NFS dari client yang besar kemungkinan Windows kan
gak terlalu asik kali buat end user. klo di linux kan ada Samba yang
mirip shared folder windows, sayang nya gak yakin ada Samba di AS/400 :( 

gimana kalau gini: data nya jgn di simpan di AS/400, tapi di linux
box. Linux Box nya export folder tsb sebagai NFS shared, dan AS/400
nya tinggal mount.

trus Linux juga open folder tsb di Samba, jadi end user tinggal copy
paste ke folder shared di linux box itu sebagai 'end user model'
Winblows shared folder.

kali ya.. kalau mau data nya beneran di keep di AS/400, ya bikin
'cron' di AS/400 copy dari direktori NFS yang di import dari Linux ke
real storage doi sendiri. lebih aman mungkin, jadi end uset tidak
perlu ngobok ngobok AS/400 yang biasanya buat nyimpen data data
puenting buanget (kan mesin mahal :)

i do understand, maybe your OS first time you install W2K then XP. In that
case should be no problem, but my situation isreversed one. Already have XP
with NTFS and i want to install W2K, and thats the problem, I also already
tried the Partition Magic 8.0. Its working, but... when I want to install
W2K, still have the problem. First time i suspected that the W2K
installation CD was broken, so i install it to other PC, and its working.

So my notebook already been format for a couple of time, but still cannot
install W2K only XP.

I also very confused with this..., thank you

Mas Hanif, driver Aztech PCI Sound Card 168 untuk Win XP sudah ada
dlm masternya Win XP (yaitu i386). Jadi, klo km install Win XP pada
kompie, maka otomatis Win XP akan menginstall driver sound card tsb,
coz Win XP sdh punya driver untuk sound card tsb. Klo masih blom
ke-detect juga, coba dech update Win XP-nya dgn Service Pack 2,
saya jamin pasti bisa ke-install driver sound card tsb.

Saya cek di websitenya Aztech cuma menyediakan driver buat Win 98
dan Win NT, coba km cek di alamat ini :
