I have lost count quite a while ago. In the small town that I live in, (population under 500) news travels fast. I am the only person that I know of for about 20 miles around that repairs or builds computers although the main business here is a small machine shop that my wife and I own. Everyone that comes in the door here with computer problems or asking about having me build them a computer gets told about Mandrake Linux, Most of them end up test driving my machine and I would estimate that well over half of them end up having me put Mandrake on their machine , sometimes replaceing windoze and other times as a bual boot setup. Like I said news around here travels fast. Now people are coming around asking me about Mandrake. I even keep a old clunker 500 MHS With ML 10.0 installed around for a loaner computer for some of the folks that bring their machine in for repair and can't do without a computer for a day or 2. That has made a number of converts. At this point the little town that I live in here in Arkansas may very well have a higher percentage of Mandrake users than anywhere else in the US, word seems to be spreading to the surrounding small towns fast. And people think hillbillies are dumb, at least they know a far superior OS when they see one LOL. The guy that teh Gateway burn in hell thread was all about used my loaner for a day and was insistant that he would not use windoze ever again, in fact I was there while he told that to several people from Gateway on the phone and then told them about how much better ML was than win XP. All that after using Mandrake for just 24 hours. Marc -- Composed on a 100% Microsoft and windows free computer using Mandrake Linux 10.0 Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft?
