2015-10-01 Thread Matthieu Guionnet
Hi,
why the kernel 2.6.32-573.7.1 had never been released for SL6 ?
https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2015-1827.html

Thanks.

It is in the sl-testing repository.

thanks for this.
I tested quickly this testing rpm.
yum update --repoenable=sl-testing firefox thunderbird

I'm not that it'll help but firefox and thunderbird failed on startup
even with -safe-mode and SE permissive

Hi,
I confirm the reason and the (temporary) solution.

It's due to the last librsvg2 update
After a yum downgrade librsvg2, Nautilus closes all the listed windows
on bottom panel

Nothings

They just don't want you to see all the files in this directory.

yum doesn't need to.
It will access to this url
http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/linux/i386/repodata/repomd.xml
and access directly to the install and update RPM files given in the
others urls (primary.xml.gz for example here).

Have a nice day.

Re: Software Collections 1.0 is available for testing for SL 6

2013-09-25 Thread Matthieu Guionnet
thanks for this very good news !

the repository is sl-testing ! does it mean that it'll be later on main
repo sl ?
Why you don't create a new repo like you've done for devtoolset ?
A choice from RedHat ?

Will you need some (good) fell-back on a specific mailing-list ?

Thanks again
