initscript coming with 9.0 and now is the first time the net is runing for me

Since the last update last night I noticed the output of ifconfig was
missing the line that tells the inet bcast and netmask for eth0. After

You can revert to urpmi-4.2-10mdk or do as most are doing for the moment
and use wget.

Also you can start with hdc=ide-cd in the append line of lilo; it workes for
me and I can now watch dvds using xine.

There is aproblem when doing modprobe snd-es1968 for alsa
on my laptop with maestro-2e.
the ac-97 codec replies that it fails and then snd-es1968
also fails.
AC'97 0:0 does not respond - RESET [REC_GAIN = 0x0]
The arts driver works.
It all works on the same machine with mdk 9.0.

should look like.

Confirmed. Running libtoolize before ./configure cures the problem,
thus "BuildRequires: rpm-devel" can be removed too.
