e I did a complete, fresh
install of RC2, even formatting my /home partition to make sure everything
was clean. I haven't seen any show stoppers yet.

With Mandrake 8.2 RC1 the Philips webcam driver does exist:

Also, with Mandrake 8.2 RC1, DrakConf's HardDrake does detect the
Philips PCVC680k WebCam.

Please let me know if I can provide additional information to help locate the
bug.

ow how important this is because it is
still very experimental. And, I'm definitely thinking about low-cost boxes,
built for the masses, easy to use, low power consumption, and costing less
than $500 including wireless card and maybe a 60 GB hard drive. One more
thing; it should be easily u
caching Web server. LM
might be fairly close be being able to provide all of the required software
support. The box in which it would be installed should have low power
consumption because it would be on 24x7.

Does anyone else have problems with Konqueror freezing when visiting the
advanced query page at Mandrake's bugzilla? I do with Konqueror 2.2.1 on
Mandrake 8.1.

I couldn't find gnomemeeting anywhere on the 2 CDs of RC1. How is this being
included? Will one have to buy the boxed set to get it? BTW, how well does
it work?

. Of course,
that does not work for Linux.

amstream
with beta 1 resulted in camstream dying immediately. With MandrakeFreq #3,
camstream ran pretty well.
Are other users seeing things like the above? At least konqueror and kmail
are working ok with beta 1 of 8.1.

exist on the same hardware for either Mandrake 8.0 beta
3 or with version 7.2. I have an Azza KT133A 266 MHz 100 UDMA motherboard,
with 128 MB PC133 SDRAM, and with a 20.4 GB Maxtor UDMA 66 7200 RPM hard
drive.
Has this happened to anyone else?

B
/var/log/httpd/ssl-engine.log as much as 169.2 MB
I've deleted these files a couple of times, but they keep coming back.
Nothing like that ever happened in months of running Mandrake 7.2. Have
other people observed this behavior?
