Yes, there is fraunhoffer codec that uses VBR, it's inlcuded for example in Nero burning soft, or music match. But I've heard it's bad, it cuts at 16khz, maybe r3mix.net has some tests of it? LAME's VBR is much better, but still, high end audio quality is only CBR 256 fu

encoding (so the start of the wav will be without delay and end won't be cut, there can be added very short silence but it doesn't matter on the last track) and burn the wav with cuesheet you have. That's how I do it and it's very good (i don't know better way now). Caste
