Bill,
I remember installing a servo tray which slid in a groove in both my
Graupner Cirrus and my old Slope Windward. I had to switch both the Rx and
servos, Thermal flying in the AM, and slope flying in the PM. Now I have
alot of old servos and thank goodness I can still use them in planes.
Okay, everyone, I got the antenna length (Boy, did I ever get it!), though
probably you all should keep measuring your antennas and keep on posting,
cause I only have about twenty replies so far, and I'd really like to do a
statistical averaging of all the Hitec rx's on the exchange. I'll plot the

Geez,
When I started out in college flying TD gliders (built up puppies mind you) I had to
swap out batteries, servos and receivers! And that was just a few years ago. Money
was always (and now quite a bit) tight. I have now given in to my addiction and have
5 fully built and ready to go ai

So far we have 3 folks who have measured NIB receivers and they got:

I se that the RG15 profile is used on some of the model intended for F3B
an F3J. I was of the impression that the profile was primarily a speed
airfoil so how does it cope with the "hanging" parts in competition? The

heating the fuse gently with heat gun will allow you to twist the warp out
and holding it while it cools will set the position.
I did my eagle this way and had no problems. be sure to use only a little
heat and sight the fuse with the wingrod in to sight it in.
I have not tried this on a wing and
My bids are 40" and 40 1/4" on my two RCD 3800 RX's I got from DJ Aerotech

I think it depends to some extent what kind of day it is in Korea.

Our antennas are quarter wave length thus the math stated by Art Mcnamee is
correct. Though his stated 5% reduction is something I've never heard of.

The above statement really reminded me what it was like when I started in
modeling.
Remember the day when you only had ONE receiver and ONE airplane? Then you got
a SECOND airplane and had to swap receivers! Ahhh, the good ol' days. May they
never return!
Quite intresting"" I just measured and remeasured NIB HiTec RX ant 383/4in.
