Hi Sally,
Oh my, thank you so much for the "heartwarming" story. I have now passed it on to many and I'm sure they will do the same. What a beautiful story. (I have to admit I had my kleenex handy at the end)
I am delinquent in answering my emails lately sorry

I was unable to find CJ and Grace's addy in our September listing. (I lost
their email in my computer crash.) Does anyone have it? I've been
thinking about both of them and would like to check up on Grace.
Thanks,

Hey Frank,
What I have done with my problem is this: I got
a hand held shower wand, opened the part where the water comes out, cut a slim
slice of sponge and stuck it right inside the shower head. The water comes out
very softly, kind of like a gentle stream. It takes a little longer to showe

I'm surprised your employer does not require it. From the employer's
viewpoint, Medicare is a way to get the government to pick up 80% of the
costs instead of the insurance company and thereby the entity paying for the

Well, am 65 y.o. and me missus is ten years

Even tho I qualify, am not going on Medicare as am

It good to know that I'm not in the shower, or tub, alone.

Frank,
I too have super sensitive skin but only on my legs. COLD/COOL water sends
my pain through the roof and will cause a bad spasm. I have a roll in shower and
go in backwards and let the water roll down from behind so it doesn't hit
the legs directly. Also, could you "soap up" and then ju

I can't stand taking a shower either, so I've resorted to lukewarm tub
baths---which bring along their own set of problems. I hate the feel of the
washcloth on my skin, so use my hands to lather. Also, a tip from my

Hi , I'm still waiting for my information about drug costs . I can't find anything about what is covered if you belong to an HMO and are not low income . My meds are all tier 1 except for insulin ( my brother got a pamphlet with that info ) . Supposedly Blue Cross/Blue Shield is mailing info
Frank ~
Bob & Patti gave you the right advice on hand held shower
heads.
I'm with you...I can't stand under a shower either with this
hypersensitive skin!
One thing I would suggest is a padded bath bench. I have
tried both and the padded one works best for mehowever..
Thanks. That's quite a list. I don't go on medicare until June 2006 and would
be interested in what Michigan people are doing. I'm already studying my
options.

A must is a hand held shower head and a seat in your shower stall. Hold the
shower head as close as you can against your body so you aren't getting jolts
of spray on your delicate skin. The water will roll off your body instead of
feeling like daggers. This works for me and while I'm tellin

TRY GETTING A SHOWER HEAD FIXTURE ON A HOSE AND TAKING THE SHOWER HEAD OFF,
AND JUST USE THE HOSE OPEN ENDED WITH SLOW FLOW. OR JUST USE A GARDEN HOSE
ADAPTED TO FIT.
MAYBE THAT WILL WORK.
