1999-09-09 Thread Jeff Richards
This has got to be the best lineup I have ever seen for a party. It
would be my dream to see all three of tha godfathers at one place.
What might make it even better would be a three hour battle between the
3 of them. I think that would be the most incredible showing ever.
Too bad i am in DC for that show.

Derrick May is confirmed for DC on Thanksgiving weekend. Plastikman
should be signed now too, I don't know for sure. A non-313er Halo is
going to be there also. It is the saturday after thanksgiving.

I don't know whether it's his most recent stuff since he's fairly
prolific, but he's had some recent stuff out on Djax (check www.djax.nl
for details) and I believe also on Force Inc. (www.force-inc.com). I
haven't heard the recent Force Inc. EP, but his Djax work is generally
very good. I don't buy that much harder stuff usually, but DJ Rush never
fails to get me jumping around.

Just checked the Djax-site and the two most recent releases are DJ Rush
- 'Swingin da drums' and also (*drum roll*): a new Stephen Brown release
- 'Corazon'! Off to the record store...

Hope this helps,

(313) Interstellar Dreamfest : Theorem

1999-09-09 Thread Dale Lawrence

For anyone that trekked out to ID last weekend:

There was no Theorem performance at Interstellar
Dreamfest last weekend. This was all entirely my fault.
In my haste to prepare for an out of state wedding I
completely forgot a crucial piece of equipment. All the
searching I did throughout the weekend for a replacement
came up fruitless--so I ended up cancelling altogether.
It was complete mistake on my part and I apologize to
anyone that traveled to ID to see me perform.

In short:
I feel like a punk. Please forgive me.
